The Johnson's



Welcome! We are Jeff and Sarah Johnson, your hosts at Timberline Glamping at Lake Lurleen State Park.


We opened our first Timberline location at Amicalola Falls State Park in Georgia in 2022. We are excited to share our love for glamping here in Alabama!


We are parents to 3 teenagers and a houseful of animals. We love spending our free time exploring new places and enjoying the great outdoors, and we discovered that glamping was the best way to do both without sacrificing comfort and convenience.


Jeff retired after 20 years of serving in the Navy, and now flies commercial airplanes. With Jeff traveling a lot for work, we cherish the downtime that allows us to reconnect and unwind.


Sarah wears many hats as a part-time teacher, Realtor, glampsite manager, and planner of our family's next adventure! Our passion for prioritizing family time and new experiences is what led us to share the joy of glamping with our guests.
